Haworth India Launches Largest Hyderabad Experience Centre

Haworth, a global leader in premium workspace solutions with a USD 2.5 billion footprint, has unveiled its newest and largest showroom at Gowra Palladium, HITEC City, Hyderabad. Spanning 8,400 sq. ft., the new space serves as an immersive experience centre, showcasing Haworth’s global design innovation, commitment to sustainability, and response to India’s growing demand for premium, future-ready workspaces.

Hyderabad, ranked among the world’s top 10 fastest-growing millionaire cities, is a booming hub for corporate real estate. With over 150 million sq. ft. of office space projected by 2025, key sectors such as Healthcare, Pharma, GCC, and IT-BPM are driving robust demand for high-quality office environments.

Mr. Henning Figge, President of Haworth International, said, “Our new showroom reflects our strong commitment to India’s growth, especially in dynamic cities like Hyderabad. This space embodies smart design, ergonomic innovation, and sustainability — all essential to creating work environments that boost well-being and productivity. It’s more than a showroom; it’s a vision of tomorrow’s workplace.”

Praveen Rawal, Vice President Sales, Haworth APAC, added, “The location offers excellent urban connectivity and aligns with sustainable architectural principles. Designed as an engaging space for corporate and design professionals, it brings to life Haworth’s ethos through interactive displays and collaborative zones.”

Manish Khandelwal, Managing Director of Haworth India, emphasized, “Our Hyderabad Experience Centre underscores the momentum in India’s premium workspace market. Clients seek inspiring environments that foster creativity and employee well-being. This launch is a key milestone in meeting those evolving needs.”

The showroom is located in Gowra Palladium, a Grade-A, IGBC Gold pre-certified green building featuring energy-efficient systems, modern infrastructure, and 24x7 security—reflecting Haworth’s strong ESG values. The centre incorporates natural lighting, sustainable materials, and strategic zoning to enhance the visitor experience.

As part of its India growth strategy, Haworth plans to expand to 10 showrooms nationwide by 2026. The Hyderabad centre will also serve as a collaborative innovation hub where clients, architects, and designers can explore ergonomic solutions and next-generation workspace concepts.

Hyderabad accounts for nearly 15% of India’s office market and over 18% of green-certified office stock, making it a key city in Haworth’s expansion plans.

Present in India since 1997, Haworth operates a manufacturing plant in Chennai that caters to domestic and international markets, including North America and Europe. In 2023, Haworth opened a 26,000 sq. ft. Global Shared Services Centre in Chennai, enhancing its international operations. To meet growing demand, Haworth is also doubling its manufacturing footprint with a new state-of-the-art factory in Sriperumbudur, increasing capacity to 113,000 sq. ft.

Currently, Haworth runs seven showrooms in India, including two dealer-operated experience centres, and employs over 300 professionals across the country.
