Subex Wins USD 0.7 mn Deal from African Mobile Operator

Subex has secured a 3-year engagement with a leading African mobile operator to deploy its HyperSense Fraud Management solution. The international contract is valued at USD 0.7 mn and strengthens the company’s presence in Africa. It also extends Subex’s fraud management capabilities to another operating company within a major global telecommunications group.

The operator will use HyperSense across its communications and mobile money operations. The deployment is designed to help identify emerging fraud patterns, improve the effectiveness of investigations and enable faster responses to evolving threats. The solution brings together artificial intelligence and telecom-focused intelligence to support the detection of fraud that can cross between mobile and mobile money services.

Subex said the engagement reflected continued customer confidence in its HyperSense Fraud Management offering. The company’s experience across African markets provides an understanding of regional operating environments, allowing the deployment to be aligned with the operator’s requirements and longer-term fraud management priorities.

The company said extending its relationship to another operating company within the telecommunications group demonstrated the value of its fraud management capabilities. The latest contract follows Subex’s broader work with communications service providers (CSPs) seeking to protect revenues, customers and digital transactions from emerging risks.

Subex is a telecom artificial intelligence solutions company serving CSPs globally. With more than 30 years of experience in business optimisation and analytics, it provides services covering business assurance, fraud management and partner ecosystem management. Its portfolio is intended to help operators reduce revenue leakage, improve operational efficiency, manage risk and optimise partner settlements through artificial intelligence-led automation.
