Uno Minda announces senior management restructuring

Uno Minda, a manufacturer of auto parts, announced senior management reform on Wednesday in order to spur future growth. As part of its succession planning, the modifications, which take effect on April 1, 2023, will help develop internal talent for important leadership posts. Ravi Mehra, who is now the Deputy Managing Director, will oversee marketing, human resources, strategy, purchasing, information technology, and corporate affairs as part of the restructure, the business stated in a regulatory filing.

According to the statement, Sunil Bohra, Group CFO, will also assume the role of CEO for safety and control systems (SCS Domain).

He would be in charge of important companies including automotive seating, blow moulding, airbags, EV motors, etc. in his additional job as CEO.

In addition, the business announced that Naveesh Garg would take on the new position of CEO for the electronics and control system sector.

In his new position, Garg will oversee managing important businesses like automotive switches, an EV-specific product line created in partnership with FRIWO, sensors, controllers, and more, it was said.
