The Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam (MPUVNL) has initiated the bidding process for the establishment of 670 megawatts (MW) grid-connected solar power projects, as part of Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM KUSUM) program. These projects will play a crucial role in harnessing renewable energy sources in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL) has floated tenders for developing a 600 MW of floating solar park at Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh.
RUMSL is a joint venture (JV) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) and the Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam. Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam (MPUVNL) has floated a tender to set up 225 MW grid-connected solar projects of 500 kW to 2 kW capacity under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM KUSUM) component A.
