Adani to develop an ammunition manufacturing unit in UP

Adani Group has planned to set up South Asia’s largest integrated ammunition manufacturing facility in Uttar Pradesh with an investment of Rs 1,500 crore.

The project will cover an area of over 250 acres as part of the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor for this project.

It will include state-of-art technology across small and medium calibre ammunition.

Minister of West Bengal Industry, Partha Chatterjee, said that the state government had approved Adani Enterprises Limited for setting up a hyper-scale data centre at Bengal Silicon Valley in the New Town region located on the outskirts of the city.

He said that the cabinet government passed the approval given to the company to set up the ammunition manufacturing facility on 51.75 acres of land.
