BSH Opens Immersive Bosch and Siemens Brand Store in Kolkata

BSH Home Appliances Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, the global leader in premium home appliances, announces the opening of its first Bosch and Siemens brand store in Kolkata. The store marks a key milestone in BSH’s strategy to expand its brand presence in East India, where it has been growing at a CAGR of 26% from 2019 to 2025.
Located in Dhakuria, an area known for its growing affluence, cosmopolitan lifestyle, and proximity to key residential neighborhoods, the store spans 1,450 sq. ft. for Bosch and 850 sq. ft. for Siemens. Multi-Channel Electronics Pvt. Ltd. serves as the dealer partner for this store.

The store showcases the latest innovations from Bosch and Siemens, including advanced dishwashers, AI-powered ovens, built-in refrigerators, and high-capacity washing machines — all tailored to the evolving needs of modern Indian homes. With live demo zones and expert consultations, customers can experience the appliances in action. Highlights include the Siemens iQ700 oven series and Bosch HomeConnect-enabled steam ovens, underscoring the brands’ commitment to elevating lifestyles. The store also features Bosch’s extensive range of small domestic appliances such as Trumixx mixer grinders, vacuum cleaners, and coffee machines.

East India at large has been pivotal in BSH’s growth journey, driven by a marked increase in demand for premium home appliances, with a remarkable 25% growth over 2023 alone. Specific categories have seen significant traction, including a 27% growth in the dishwasher segment in 2024, reflecting increasing consumer preference for convenience and hygiene solutions. High-capacity washing machines (8 kg and above) have emerged as the biggest growth driver, registering an impressive 80% increase year-on-year, driven by targeted initiatives across FAFL, ATL, and SATT categories.

Saif Khan, MD & CEO of BSH Home Appliances India said, “At BSH Home Appliances, we are driven by a commitment to bring cutting-edge technology, design excellence, and unmatched performance to Indian homes. Kolkata, with its blend of cultural heritage and modern aspirations, has always been a city of evolved consumers. As the city embraces smarter, more connected lifestyles, we see a strong shift towards premium appliances that offer both innovation and convenience. The launch of our new Bosch and Siemens Brand Store in Kolkata is a testament to our vision — to make global technology more accessible and relevant to the everyday lives of our customers here.”
