REC wins two honours at 47th All India Public Relations Conference

REC has been conferred with two prestigious awards at the 47th All India Public Relations Conference, organised by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) in Dehradun. The recognitions highlight the organisation’s sustained efforts in strengthening strategic communication and stakeholder engagement.

The company received awards in the Public Relations and In-house Journal categories, acknowledging its structured communication approach, transparency, and effective dissemination of institutional initiatives. The honours were presented by Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, former Union Minister for Education, and Smt. Ritu Khanduri Bhushan, Speaker of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly.

The awards were accepted on behalf of REC by Shri Sunil Bisht, CPM, REC Limited (Dehradun Office), along with members of the Corporate Communications team, during the conference proceedings.

As part of the event, REC’s Corporate Communication team also delivered a presentation titled “Role of Corporate Communication in Public Sector Undertakings”, highlighting the evolving importance of strategic communication in strengthening transparency, stakeholder trust and institutional credibility within public sector enterprises.

The recognition underscores REC’s consistent focus on effective communication practices, the quality of its in-house publications, and its commitment to engaging diverse stakeholders in alignment with its organisational vision.
