Hyderabad airport gets MRO complex

MAS GMR Aerospace Engineering Co (MGAE) has set up a Rs 350 crore aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) complex at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad. The facility currently has the capacity to perform 200 aircraft checks annually. It can perform base maintenance ‘C’ and ‘D’ checks for A320s, ATR 42s, ATR 72s and the new generation Boeing 737s. The complex will gradually build its capability to provide maintenance services for Airbus 330s and Boeing 777s.
