The Boeing 777 Freighter has a payload capacity exceeding 100 t and long haul operating capabilities, which will significantly boost cargo movement along the Taipei?Hyderabad?Dubai corridor. The service is expected to support the seamless movement of high value and time sensitive shipments, including pharmaceuticals, life sciences products, electronics, semiconductors, perishables and express cargo. By handling larger volumes, the corridor is set to reduce transit times and improve reliability for manufacturers and exporters.

GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd said the introduction of the freighter represents a significant milestone in its cargo growth journey, and that the operator has been investing in cargo infrastructure, digital capabilities and specialised handling solutions to meet growing international trade needs. The airport authority emphasised that the corridor enhances the cargo ecosystem and advances its vision of transforming Hyderabad into a major logistics and cargo hub in the region. GMR Aero Cargo & Logistics described the route as a strategic trade corridor that strengthens connectivity between key global markets.

The route provides direct access between Taipei's electronics and semiconductor clusters and Hyderabad's life sciences, pharmaceutical and emerging technology sectors, while Dubai enables onward connectivity to over 145 destinations worldwide. As global supply chains continue to evolve, cargo infrastructure and connectivity are becoming critical drivers of economic competitiveness, and the freighter service is expected to play a key role in supporting movement of servers and other high value technology equipment. The addition therefore reinforces Hyderabad's proposition as a preferred gateway for technology driven supply chains.
