The Noida International Airport, also known as Jewar Airport, is currently under construction and is set to become India's largest airport, as well as one of the largest in Asia.

The project is being spearheaded by Flughafen Z?rich AG, the operator of Switzerland's Zurich Airport, who successfully secured the bid for the development and operation of Jewar Airport for a substantial 40-year duration.

Anticipated to commence operations by the end of 2024, this airport has a rich history, with its inception dating back to 2001 when it was first proposed by the then Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Rajnath Singh.

Located just 7 kilometers from Jewar in the Gautam Buddha Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, the Noida International Airport (NIA) is poised to mark a significant milestone in India's aviation landscape.
