CPCL Tops NHAI’s First-Ever DPR Consultants Ranking

Chaitanya Projects Consultancy (CPCL) has secured the top position in the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)’s first-ever provisional Detailed Project Report (DPR) consultants rating, achieving a score of 80.75 out of 100. The firm outperformed 55 peer organisations, ranking ahead of Pentacle Consultants (78), L&T Infrastructure Engineering (76), MSV International Technology (74) and Transys Consulting (72).
The rankings, released in the fourth week of January 2026, mark NHAI’s first structured and transparent evaluation of DPR consultants to improve quality standards for national highway projects under Bharatmala and other programmes. The provisional list assesses firms against defined performance parameters and includes a provision for consultants to submit appeals. The initiative aligns with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s emphasis on accountability within infrastructure consultancy.
Commenting on the achievement, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Sinha, Founder & Managing Director, Chaitanya Projects Consultancy Limited, said, “Being ranked number one in NHAI’s first-ever DPR consultant ratings is a deeply meaningful milestone for all of us at CPCL. It reflects more than two decades of hard work, consistency, and belief in doing things the right way. We started with a small team and big dreams, and over the years, we have grown into a trusted partner for India’s highway development. As the country’s infrastructure push accelerates under the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, we remain committed to building highways that are not just technically sound but sustainable, safe, and future-ready. This recognition strengthens our resolve to keep raising the bar for quality and accountability in infrastructure consultancy.”
Founded in 2004, CPCL serves government, private and international clients across highways, bridges, urban infrastructure, water management, transportation and environmental assessments. The firm has delivered more than 300 projects, including over 600 km of six-lane highways, 2,000 km of national highways and 100 major bridges, supported by a professional team of more than 1,000 and extensive use of advanced technologies. Headquartered in Noida, CPCL has a pan-India presence and has executed landmark assignments such as DPRs for over 10,000 km of PMGSY roads and supervision of the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway.
In 2025, CPCL strengthened its position in infrastructure due diligence by assessing over 2,250 km of national highways for monetisation, with a total project value of approximately Rs 350 billion.
The company reported revenue exceeding $10 million in FY 2024–25 and has achieved a five-year CAGR of 28.2 per cent, supported by its multidisciplinary capabilities across transportation, highways, bridges, urban infrastructure and renewable energy.
