Dahisar to Mira-Bhayander elevated road to be completed in 42 months

The coastal project's elevated road from Dahisar to Mira-Bhayander will be 45 m wide and have four lanes. The BMC has reportedly shared that the project will be completed in 42 months. It has calculated a rough net estimate of Rs. 25.74 billion. The total estimated cost, including escalation provisions, permission charges, and royalties, is Rs. 31.86 billion. As per reports, economic activity in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region is linked to economic activity in the Greater Mumbai Region (BMC). As a result, people are constantly moving from neighbouring cities to the Greater Mumbai Municipal Corporation area. The Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation is one of the fastest-growing satellite cities in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), with a population of over 1.50 million people, and it is estimated that nearly one million people commute from Mumbai to Mira Bhayander and vice versa every day.
