Foundation stone for Ganderbal road upgradation laid by Nuzhat Ishfaq

Nuzhat Ishfaq, the chairperson of the District Development Council (DDC) of Ganderbal, laid the foundation stone for the upgrading of a 4.80 km road in Ganderbal that would be built at a cost of Rs 28.0 million from Wahidpora to Lar as part of PMGSY phase III.

Addressing at the event, Nuzhat Ishfaq praised PMGSY division Ganderbal for committing to the construction of this crucial route and expressed the hope that it would be finished on schedule. The DDC Chairperson’s efforts to sanction the route were praised by the community as well.

Relevantly, the aforementioned road will be finished in the fiscal year 2023-2024 and is the first road constructed under PMGSY Phase-III. Present on the occasion were Executive Engineer Jal Shakti Ganderbal, local PRIs and other officials of PMGSY.
