Mahindra Unveils COMPAX Mini Compactor at EXCON 2025

Mahindra’s Construction Equipment business (MCE) recently unveiled the Mahindra COMPAX mini compactor for the road construction industry at the CII-organised EXCON exhibition held at BIEC, Bengaluru. Alongside the new launch, the company showcased its advanced CEV-V range of machines, featuring improved comfort, higher productivity and enhanced performance aimed at improving customer earnings.

Speaking at the event, Dr Venkat Srinivas, Business Head – Mahindra Truck, Bus and Construction Equipment, and Executive Director & CEO – SML Mahindra Ltd, said Mahindra’s commercial vehicles and construction equipment are recognised for fuel efficiency, robust build and reliability. He added that the new Mahindra COMPAX carries the same brand DNA and is designed to address demanding compaction tasks through indigenous manufacturing capabilities and a deep understanding of India’s infrastructure requirements.

MCE’s portfolio includes the Mahindra RoadMaster motor grader, holding over 18 per cent market share, and the Mahindra EarthMaster backhoe loader, known for high torque and fuel efficiency. The range is supported by a nationwide service and spares network of more than 136 touchpoints, including dealerships, authorised service centres, sales outlets and spare parts outlets.

Jyoti Structures expands manufacturing capacity in Nashik

The announcement Jyoti Structures (JSL) reported steady operational performance in 2025, supported by stable project execution across its power transmission portfolio. The company commissioned galvanisation operations at its second Nashik manufacturing unit, adding 33,000 MT of annual capacity. This increased aggregate tower manufacturing capability at Nashik to approximately 69,000 MT per annum, aimed at improving fabrication accuracy, scheduling control and delivery predictability. Mumbai Coastal Road Musical Path Plays Jai Ho

Mumbai inaugurated India’s first musical path on the Coastal Road that plays the song Jai Ho for motorists.
