Rs 16.84 bn Paid For Ring Road Land In J&K, Government Informs House

The government told the House that it has paid Rs 16.84 billion (bn) for land for the ring road in Jammu and Kashmir, covering compensation and acquisition costs. The payment was part of infrastructure plans to improve connectivity and stimulate economic activity in the region. Authorities said the disbursement followed statutory procedures and survey verifications prior to acquisition.

The administration outlined seven key pillars to counter terror threats originating within and beyond the country, describing an approach that spans intelligence sharing, capacity building and community engagement.
