UP Govt. Grants Extra Funds For 31km Road

To maintain connectivity between the Noida International Airport (NIA) and the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, the Yogi Adityanath administration in Uttar Pradesh has sanctioned a budget of Rs 48.62 crore.

This funding will be utilized to finish the 31-kilometer DND-Faridabad-Ballabgarh Bypass Link Road, which would link the airport with Ballabgarh in the Haryana province.

The state government's acceptance of this additional amount corrects the discrepancy in the project's land valuation, effectively removing the obstacle and enabling the project to move forward.

The proposal was presented to the state government, and on August 12 a spokeswoman for the administration declared that the final infusion of funding needed for the project had been approved.

For the project, the Gautam Budh Nagar district administration purchased 64 acres of private land.

Following that, the landowners received compensation totaling more than Rs 250 crore.

Later, though, a larger sum was needed to seize the land in Dayanatpur, Karauli Bangar, and Amarpur, among other villages.
