Minister of Railway, Ashwini Vaishnaw, told the media that the Indian Railways is committed to providing world-class facilities at stations during his visit to Khajuraho Jhansi Expressway. The Minister said about the redevelopment of the Khajuraho railway station to make it a world-class railway station. Vaishnaw, the local administration, and the national transporter encouraged the farmers to install solar plants on their land to increase their income. According to Vaishnaw, the pilot project is to be started with Bundelkhand, and the land will be identified. The land will be identified jointly by the Railway and District Administration Kisan Morcha. The Railway Minister said that the One Station One Product Scheme is expanding so local items could be available in the market through railway stations. Over 1,000 railway stations will come under this scheme, including Chhatarpur station. The limestone industries near Panna are to be linked with Indian Railways.
