AAI, RVNL tie-up for subway construction

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly undertake the construction of subways in West Bengal. This collaborative effort aims to bolster transportation infrastructure in the state, facilitating smoother connectivity and enhancing passenger convenience. The MoU signifies a strategic partnership between AAI and RVNL to leverage their respective expertise in airport and railway infrastructure development. Under this agreement, both entities will work together to identify suitable locations for subway construction, conduct feasibility studies, and execute the projects in a timely manner.
