Ahluwalia Contracts bags orders worth Rs 5 billion

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) rose 4.73 per cent to Rs 440.40 after the company announced new construction orders totalling Rs 5 billion. The first project involves MMRDA (Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority) work for Rs 680.5 million for the design, fabrication, supply, and erection of pre-engineering building structural steel works at Mandale Depot cum workshop at MMRDA's Mumbai Metro Rail project.

The second order is for a Rs 4.62 billion light house major upgrade for Chandigarh Railway Station on a modular concept via engineering procurement and construction (EPC). To date, the total order inflow for the fiscal year 2022-23 is reported to be Rs 36.44 billion.
