Bengaluru Metro Expansion to Reach 175 km by 2026

Bengaluru is set to expand its metro network, with the total length of the metro train service expected to reach 175 kilometers by 2026. According to Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, the ongoing metro expansion project will provide significant relief to the city's traffic congestion and improve public transportation.

The extension of the metro line is part of the city’s efforts to enhance its infrastructure and reduce reliance on road transport. This ambitious project will improve connectivity across various parts of the city, facilitating smoother commutes for millions of daily travelers.
