Elevated, underground sections archives key milestones at Kanpur Metro

Progress is swift on the Baradevi-Naubasta elevated segment of the Kanpur Metro initiative. The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) is actively engaged in the installation of 348 U-girders along the 5 km expanse. A notable achievement has been reached as of the latest update, with 100 U-girders now successfully positioned along the route.

It's worth highlighting that the Kanpur Metro Project's Baradevi-Naubasta elevated passage will accommodate several crucial stations: Baradevi, Kidwai Nagar, Vasant Vihar, Baudh Nagar, and Naubasta. Furthermore, UPMRC is diligently advancing the tunnelling efforts for the Chunniganj-Nayanganj subterranean section of the Kanpur Metro, ensuring the project remains on schedule for completion.
