J Kumar Infraprojects launches steel girder for Pink Line-6

J Kumar Infraprojects launched a 48 m special steel girder for the 15.18 km Mumbai Metro Line-6, Pink Line project. This metro line will connect Swami Samarth Nagar to Vikhroli through 13 elevated stations.

The steel girder over Line-2A’s viaduct on Link Road has been installed near Infinity Mall for Package BC-03 of the project. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) awarded this contract worth Rs 8,67.75 crore to J Kumar – China Railway No. 3 Engineering Group (CRTG) joint venture (JV) back in August 2018.

The project work includes the construction of a 6.079 km viaduct from chainage of 822.508 m to 5,257.400 m and five stations at Swami Samarth Nagar in Lokhandwala, Adarsh Nagar, Jogeshwari, Jogeshwari–Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR) and Shyam Nagar.

The bids for Line-6 systems, including rolling stock, signalling, telecom, etc., have not yet been invited.
