Kernex Microsystems Wins Rs 3.25 Bn KAVACH Safety System Contract

Kernex Microsystems (India) Ltd announced that its KERNEX-MRT consortium has been awarded a ?325 crore KAVACH safety system contract by South Eastern Railway. The contract involves the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the KAVACH system across 688 route kilometres in the Kharagpur and Chakradharpur divisions.

The contract, valued at Rs 3.25 billion (including GST), is set to be completed in 1,000 days. The KAVACH system aims to enhance railway safety, addressing critical safety concerns on major railway routes.
