Konkan Rail route delays due to Goa double-tracking

Numerous trains along the Konkan Railway route have experienced delays because of the double-tracking project in South Goa. Baban Ghatge, Deputy General Manager of Konkan Railway Corporation (KRCL), informed PTI that the South Western Railway has been implementing the double-tracking between Majorda and Cansualim stations in South Goa.

He explained that as a consequence of the ongoing South Western Railway project, trains on the Konkan Railway route had been running behind schedule by at least three to four hours since Sunday.

He further stated that he said almost all trains on the Konkan Railway route were delayed since Sunday.
