L&T Secures Electrification Contract for Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has been entrusted with the electrification of the C, a significant infrastructure project aimed at boosting connectivity and efficiency in the region. This contract involves installing and commissioning the necessary electrical systems for the entire corridor.

The Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor is designed to improve transportation between key cities and industrial hubs in Haryana. Electrification is a critical component of this project, as it will enhance the speed, reliability, and environmental sustainability of rail services along the route.

L&T's role includes the installation of overhead electrification systems, substations, and other essential infrastructure. This project is expected to not only improve rail operations but also support regional economic development by facilitating smoother and faster freight and passenger transport.
