Maruti Suzuki to Launch First EV with 500 km Range
Maruti Suzuki India is set to launch its first electric vehicle (EV) in January 2025, a mid-size SUV expected to have a range of 500 km per charge. The automaker made this announcement during the annual session of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) in New Delhi. Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, announced that India will soon be in a position to export lithium-ion batteries globally.
