Northern Railway GM Inspects Srinagar–Baramulla Rail Line

The General Manager of Northern Railway conducted a detailed inspection of the Srinagar–Baramulla rail section, reviewing operational performance, safety measures and overall infrastructure readiness across the route. Senior officials from the zone accompanied the inspection team, which assessed track conditions, signalling systems, stations and passenger amenities.
During the visit, the General Manager emphasised the importance of maintaining high safety standards and ensuring reliable train operations in the Kashmir Valley. The team also examined ongoing maintenance activities and instructed staff to prioritise punctuality, cleanliness and enhanced commuter facilities.
