Phase II tenders are invited by Chennai Metro Rail Ltd

The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has invited bids for the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a telecommunication system for CMRL Phase-II at various stations along Corridor 3 (which connects Sholinganallur to SIPCOT 2) and Corridor 5 (45.5 km), which runs between Koyambedu Market Metro to Sholinganallur, OCC at Madhavaram, and BCC Nandi.

A tender for the creation of an effective and efficient mass transit system is now open, with a bid security of Rs 18 million and a 1330-day completion window. From February 28, 2023, until the deadline (29th April 2023) for proposal submission, the bidders may also get a bid document by submitting a non-refundable charge of INR 33,500 inclusive of GST in the form of NEFT, RTGS, or SWIFT in favour of Chennai Metro Rail Ltd. The pre-bid meeting will take place online on March 16, 2023, at 3:00 PM, and bids for the contract will be accepted starting on April 22, 2023.
