PM Modi Reviews Under-Construction Bullet Train Station in Gujarat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently visited Gujarat to review progress at the under-construction bullet train station in Surat, part of the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor. The visit reflects the Centre’s focus on strengthening rail infrastructure and boosting regional connectivity.

During his trip, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to lay the foundation stone and inaugurate development projects worth over Rs 97 billion across the state’s tribal belt, emphasising inclusive growth.

The Surat bullet train station is a key component of the high-speed rail corridor, which aims to significantly cut travel time between Mumbai and Ahmedabad and enhance passenger experience.
