RITES Wins Rs 280M Order from MCL for Rail Consultancy

State-run infrastructure firm RITES has bagged a Rs 280 million work order from Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL) for detailed engineering and project management consultancy services.

According to a stock exchange filing, the order pertains to providing consultancy for rail connectivity to the proposed Phase-II SILO project at MCL’s Lakhanpur area.

This comes soon after RITES received a Rs 280 million letter of acceptance from South Central Railway earlier this month for conducting the final location survey for high-speed elevated rail corridors between Hyderabad-Bengaluru and Hyderabad-Chennai.

Meanwhile, ahead of the announcement, RITES shares closed at Rs 239.15 on Thursday, down 0.97 per cent on the BSE.
