Special trains from Secunderabad to Santragachi and Shalimar

The Railways announced that special trains would be operated to clear the extra rush of passengers between Secunderabad and Santragachi, as well as Secunderabad and Shalimar during summer. It was stated that the Secunderabad ? Shalimar? Secunderabad Special trains (07225/ 07226) would commence from April 15, while the train number (07223/07224) Secunderabad-Santragachi-Secunderabad would commence from April 19.

It was mentioned that the Secunderabad - Santragachi (07223) Summer Special train was scheduled to depart from Secunderabad at 07.05 am on April 19, 26 and May 3, 10, 17, May 24 and May 31, also on June 7, 14, 21 and June 28. The train was planned to arrive at Duvvada (Vizag) at 7.55 pm and reach Santragachi at 10.30 am the following day.

In the return direction, the Santragachi - Visakhapatnam (07224) Summer special train was set to depart from Santragachi at 12.20 noon on April 20, 27 and May 4, 11, 18, May 25, June 1, 8, 15, June 22, and June 29. It was indicated that the train would reach Duvvada at 2.30 am the next day and arrive at Secunderabad at 2.45 pm. The train would make stoppages at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikudi, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Anakapalli, Duvvada, Vizianagaram, Palasa, Berhamapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, and Kharagpur between Secunderabad and Santragachi in both directions.

It was further mentioned that the Secunderabad - Shalimar (07225) Summer Special train was scheduled to leave Secunderabad at 4.30 am on April 15, 22 and April 29, May 6, 13, 20, May 27, June 3, 10, 17, and June 24. It was stated that the train would arrive at Duvvada at 2.30 pm and reach Shalimar at 6.05 am the following day.

In the return direction, the Shalimar - Secunderabad (07226) Summer special train was planned to depart from Shalimar at 10.00 am on April 16, 23 and April 30, May 7, 14, 21, May 28, June 4, 11, 18, and June 25. It was informed that the train would reach Duvvada at 1.25 am and arrive at Secunderabad at 1 pm.
