Union minister inaugurates halt of Vande Bharat Express

Union Minister V. Muraleedharan inaugurated the stop for the Vande Bharat Express at Chengannur, a coastal town in Kerala, on Monday. A warm reception greeted the train as it made its scheduled stop at the station. The train in question, designated as Train No 20634/20633, operates on the 'Thiruvananthapuram Central - Kasargod - Thiruvananthapuram Central' route, and it arrived at Chengannur station at 6:55 AM.

Elected representatives, including Mavelikkara MP Kodikkunnil Suresh and Chengannur Municipality Chairperson Susamma Abraham, were present at the event, as per a release from the union minister's office. The Railway Board has granted approval for a two-minute halt at Chengannur starting from the present day, along with adjustments in the train's schedule.
