Kamat, Chairman of DRDO and Secretary of Defence R&D. The partnership aims to develop smart technological solutions to enhance national security.

Dr Kamat stated that the collaboration is expected to support the development of technological solutions for the deployment aspects of indigenous defence systems.

Under the MoU, both organisations will undertake joint studies and research in areas such as logistics management, operational logistics at tactical, operational and strategic levels, chip design and hardware security, and homomorphic or blockchain-based encryption. The collaboration aims to strengthen capabilities in operational and military science, logistics management and technical research.

GSV and DRDO will jointly conduct research programmes, seminars, conferences, capacity-building initiatives and round-table workshops. The MoU was signed by Prof Manoj Choudhary, Vice-Chancellor of GSV, and Dr Lal Chand Mangal, DS & DG (TM).
