CleanMax Reaches 530 MW Q1 FY27 Renewable Milestone

CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions Ltd commissioned around 530 MW of renewable energy (RE) capacity in the first quarter of FY27, its highest quarterly addition. The record increased the operational RE portfolio from around three point six GW as of March 2026 to approximately four point two GW, strengthening its position in India's commercial and industrial renewable segment. The company said the milestone reflected growing corporate adoption of renewables and its execution capabilities.

The operational portfolio now comprises around three point five GW under its renewable energy power sales business and around zero point seven GW under its renewable energy services business. During Q1 FY27 the company added 403 MW to its RE power sales portfolio, including about 350 MWp of solar and 53 MW of wind. The additions included projects owned or co-owned by CleanMax, including group captive projects with customer equity under long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) and energy attribute purchase agreements (EAPAs).

The quarter saw largest capacity additions in Gujarat at around 170 MW, Karnataka at around 160 MW and Maharashtra at around 110 MW, with further commissions in Haryana and Chhattisgarh. The overall expansion was delivered across 11 project sites in five states. Kuldeep Jain, Founder and Managing Director, said that crossing 500 MW of commissioning in a single quarter reflected strong demand from commercial and industrial customers and marked an important expansion of the operating portfolio and long-term partnerships. He said the company would maintain focus on timely execution and customer support in energy transition.

Recent customer additions include large technology, data centre and industrial firms such as Meta, Apple, STT GDC India, Iron Mountain Data Centers, Princeton Digital Group, CEAT and Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd (GACL). The company said these wins underscored rising demand for clean energy solutions among commercial and industrial consumers and reinforced the role of long-term agreements and customer-owned projects in scaling capacity. CleanMax indicated it would pursue further projects across solar, wind and hybrid platforms to meet corporate renewable requirements.
