KEC International Bags Rs 11,800 Mn Orders Across T&D, Renewables, Civil & Cables

KEC International has secured Rs 11,800 million (mn) of orders across transmission and distribution, renewables, civil and cables businesses, the company announced. The wins further strengthen the order book across its core segments and geographies and mark strategic progress in targeted markets. Management noted that the mix of orders underscores resilience in project execution and continued demand for infrastructure services.

The transmission and distribution business won its first transmission line order for evacuation of power to a data centre from a reputed private developer, marking an important milestone in supporting the power infrastructure needs of the growing data centre segment. The tower supply business secured a significant order from the Middle East while the renewables division won a large solar project, reinforcing relations with existing clients. The contracts involve engineering, supply and construction activities tailored to each market and client requirement.

The company indicated that its year to date order intake stands at over Rs 52,000 mn. KEC is a major global infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction company with presence in power transmission and distribution, civil, transportation, renewables, oil and gas pipelines and cables. The company operates across multiple countries and leverages project management capabilities to deliver complex infrastructure assignments.

In the quarter ended 31 March 2026 consolidated net profit declined by 28.11 per cent to Rs 1,927.9 mn from Rs 2,681.9 mn in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, while revenue from operations decreased 7.01 per cent to Rs 63,897.5 mn. The scrip fell one point two one per cent to end at Rs 489.90 on the BSE on 14 July 2026, reflecting investor reaction to the financial performance.
