KP Energy unveils 52.5 MW wind project in Dwarka

At the Sidhpur location in Devbhoomi Dwarka, Gujarat, KP Energy has successfully completed the commissioning of a 52.5 MW (Phase-I) interstate transmission system (ISTS) connected wind power project with 25 wind turbine generators (WTGs) of 2.1 MW each.

As another step toward the project's successful execution, the 300 MW power evacuation system, which consists of the pooling substation and the extra high voltage transmission line, has been charged for the project's phase-by-phase commissioning.

The 250.8 MW ISTS-connected wind power project capacity granted to Apraava Energy by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) in tranche-VIII bidding includes the phase-I commissioning. By July 2023, it is anticipated that the project's final phases would be effectively finished.

The project is anticipated to provide a significant contribution to India's renewable energy goals.
