RECPDCL transfers SPV for development of Transmission Project

A wholly owned subsidiary of REC, REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL) has given Power Grid Corporation of India the SPV for the development of the ER NER Transmission Limited transmission project.

The project entails upgrading Namsai S/s and related work, including the installation of about 77 km of 220 kV double circuit transmission lines, as well as the construction of two 500 MVA ICT(AIS) units at Banka S/s. A target of 36 months has been set for the project's realisation.
