Repos Energy Signs MoU with DPIIT to Boost Fuel-Tech Innovation

Repos Energy has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India, to advance the country’s technology and innovation ecosystem. The agreement was formalised on 25 March 2026 in the presence of senior DPIIT officials.
Amid rising geopolitical tensions and supply chain disruptions, the partnership highlights the growing importance of efficient last-mile fuel distribution. The collaboration aims to support startups, innovators and entrepreneurs, while promoting technology-led solutions in critical infrastructure sectors.
Repos Energy will work closely with the Government of India to enable innovation-driven growth, particularly in fuel logistics. Its platform focuses on building a digital infrastructure layer to improve how fuels are accessed, distributed and managed, addressing long-standing inefficiencies in last-mile delivery.
The initiative is expected to accelerate the adoption of intelligent fuel management systems, enhancing efficiency, transparency and reliability across industries. It also reinforces efforts to strengthen India’s energy resilience and foster a collaborative startup ecosystem aligned with national priorities.
