Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy has secured new domestic orders worth Rs 35.5 bn, led by an 875 megawatt (MW) AC solar engineering, procurement and construction contract in Bikaner, Rajasthan valued at about Rs 34.9 bn and a 50 megawatt (MW) AC project in Maharashtra awarded by a private independent power producer. The company indicated the awards come as it closes the financial year and include operations and maintenance obligations and applicable taxes.
