India's dream to host the Formula One Grand Prix is finally coming true. The F1 GP circuit that is being developed under the leadership of Jaiprakash Gaur, Chairman, Jaypee Group of companies, is fast nearing completion. Designed by Hermann Tilke, Greater Noida, the India - New Delhi circuit will be roughly 5.5 km (3.1 miles). The racing track is a part of the Jaypee Greens Sports City project, India's first Urban Integrated City, spread over 5,000 acre. The project is enveloped in acres of landscaped greens and zen thematic gardens. It comprises perfectly crafted homes with breath-taking views of perennial lakes and canals. With all modern facilities, the city offers regular water supply, electric power supply, centrally monitored 3-tier security system, medical and education facilities. Social clubs, cricket stadium and other international sports centers add to the splendour.
