The Jammu and Kashmir government has approved the release of about Rs.680 mn for the execution of up to ten Smart City Jammu projects during the current fiscal year 2022-23. The work description includes improvements to the road from Dogra Chowk to KC Chowk, smart lighting at four Tawi Bridges, an e-pay bill for civic services, an intelligent traffic management system, an integrated command and control centre, façade lighting illumination of the Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex, modernisation of the Narwal mandi, and other items.
