Schwing Stetter India coverts factory into Covid-19 care centre

Schwing Stetter India, one of the biggest producers of construction and concreting equipment in the country, has turned a floor in one of the buildings of its factories into a Covid Care centre, the F75 sector in Sriperumbudur.

The facility will provide exclusively for the company's employees and their dependents. The Covid-19 centre has been set up in an agreement with the Tamil Nadu Government for treatment facilities.

Stetter has deployed three Covid duty medical officers, available at the hospital 24/7, six Covid duty nurses, two Covid duty ambulance drivers, five beds with oxygen supply, and 20 beds without oxygen supply.

The firm will also arrange a psychiatrist/counsellor and a Yoga therapist for the complete well-being of the patients admitted at this centre. The firm is constantly fighting the battle against Covid-19 and ensuring the total protection of its employees and their family.

V G Sakthikumar, Managing Director, Schwing Stetter, told the media that the concept behind turning their existing facility into a Covid hospital is to assure that their staff will have access to the appropriate medical facilities to fight Covid-19 quickly.

He added, this is their way to help the Tamil Nadu Government to reduce the spread of this virus.
