Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels and Ambuja Neotia Launch The Park Unizen

Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited (ASPHL) and Ambuja Neotia have launched The Park Unizen, a hospitality-integrated development of serviced residences on EM Bypass in Kolkata, marking a significant addition to the city's evolving urban corridor. The development has been announced on 25 February 2026 and is presented as a collaborative effort to introduce design-led, hospitality-linked living formats to the area. The initiative is positioned as part of a broader strategy to create a mixed-use lifestyle destination along the corridor.

The Park Unizen comprises 69 serviced residences and is sited alongside the upcoming THE Park Hotel, which will feature 218 rooms. Together, the two developments are expected to strengthen the corridor's emergence as a mixed-use lifestyle destination and to contribute to Kolkata's continuing urban expansion. The project is the outcome of a strategic alignment between two groups with longstanding experience in hospitality and urban development.

Global architecture firm Gensler designed the scheme, drawing inspiration from the layered ecology of the Sundarban mangroves and expressing that influence through vertical articulation and a façade that responds to light and climate. The interiors of common areas and the club have been prepared by Bobby Mukherrji Architects with a curated material palette and experiential detailing. An elevated wellness terrace with a panoramic pool, landscaped zones and curated leisure spaces will form a central feature of the development.

The forthcoming THE Park Hotel will provide curated banquet and event spaces, signature dining experiences, dynamic nightlife venues and dedicated wellness and leisure facilities, and it will include an air taxi landing facility. The pairing of hotel and residences is intended to offer residents hospitality services and amenities integrated into daily living. Together, they are set to enhance the address's appeal for both residents and visitors.
