Gujarat Housing Board (GHB) announced tender

The reconstruction of an integrated group housing complex in Gota, Ahmedabad, through a public-private partnership (PPP) has been put out to bid by the Gujarat Housing Board (GHB). The endeavour involves redeveloping the current public housing programme component (PHC), which includes giving eligible current residents dwellings and essential civic facilities.

As part of the scheme area, the land parcel must be used for the PHC that now exists and, if land becomes available after PHC, for the free sale component. After the contract agreement is signed and the work order is issued, the development agreement must be signed within 120 days.

The project will take 40 months to complete, divided between a four-month pre-construction phase and a 36-month construction phase. The development is expected to cost Rs 5.04 billion. The deadline for submitting bids June 14 this year.
