A bedroom is different for every person. Some may want it as a complete retreat with space to entertain themselves with a media station, others may want to avoid that distraction and opt for a quiet environment. These bedrooms from the same home are about 1000 sq ft in size and are designed in an open plan to include a lounge, walk-in dressers and washroom.

Grey delight rustic bedroom

Rustic concrete finish on the walls and the ceiling creates a chic environment in this bedroom. One eye-catching feature is the slight overhangs of the false ceiling, which look as they are coming off in different places, highlighted with hidden lights, they add much drama to the space. The brown marble flooring and the dark brown furniture pieces and bed back wall paneling complement each other, while the grey couch and bed add to the cool environment.

Handcrafted cornices on the wall finished with an earthy wallpaper create a calming classical backdrop adorned with artworks by Seema Kohli. A textural panel of veneer set in a geometric pattern in the ceiling holds the space together. A statement console, and the rest of the furniture in a grey palette add luxurious elegance. Walls adorned by bright paintings break the monotony of the room by adding a splash of colour while the large windows opening up to a patio create an illusion of an infinity space making the room look larger than it is, flooding it with natural light.

Lucknow Metro East-West Corridor Consultancy Contract Awarded

The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation has awarded the first construction-related consultancy contract for the Lucknow Metro East West Corridor to a joint venture of AYESA Ingenieria Arquitectura SAU and AYESA India Pvt Ltd. The firm was declared the lowest bidder for the Detailed Design Consultant contract for Lucknow Metro Line-2 under Phase 1B and the contract was recommended following the financial bid. Interarch Reports Strong Q3 And Nine Month Results

Interarch Building Solutions Limited reported unaudited results for the third quarter and nine months ended 31 December 2025, recording strong revenue growth driven by execution and a robust order book.
