J&K MLA Launches Multi-Million Projects in Ramnagar

In Jammu and Kashmir the BJP MLA Dr Sunil Bhardwaj inaugurated and launched a series of multi-million (mn) rupee projects across the Ramnagar constituency in Udhampur district aimed at accelerating grassroots development. The initiatives were described as targeting rural connectivity, education infrastructure and the tourism potential of the hilly region and were presented as aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of building self-reliant villages. The launch was presented in an official handout that linked the measures to broader objectives of socio-economic upliftment.

According to the handout the projects are intended to strengthen links between remote habitations and local markets and to improve facilities that support schooling and vocational learning without imposing a detailed account of individual schemes. The measures were framed as part of an infrastructure-led growth strategy that seeks to reduce isolation in highland communities and to provide a foundation for sustainable livelihoods. Local administrative officers were reported to be tasked with coordination and oversight to ensure timely implementation.

Officials signalled that enhanced access and better educational environments are expected to catalyse employment opportunities and to create conditions favourable for small scale tourism that draws on the constituency's natural assets. The emphasis on public welfare projects was described as complementing ongoing efforts to bolster basic services and to promote inclusive development across remote wards. The approach was set out as a medium term effort to address systemic barriers to growth in hilly terrains.

The statement said the elected representative reaffirmed his commitment to infrastructure-led development and to continuing engagement with residents to monitor progress and to address practical challenges during execution. The communication invited stakeholders to participate in implementation and to provide feedback as works proceed across the constituency. Further details of individual project components were not available in the public note.
