KAS and Vigyanlabs Partner to Deploy Sustainable AI Data Centre Infrastructure

KAS and Vigyanlabs have entered into a strategic partnership to accelerate the deployment of sovereign artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC) and next-generation data centre infrastructure across India.

The collaboration aims to address the growing demand for sustainable digital infrastructure through the deployment of Vigyanlabs' proprietary FEMTO platform. Developed in India, the platform features a fully air-cooled data centre architecture that eliminates the need for water-intensive cooling systems while reducing power consumption and improving space efficiency for high-density computing workloads.

The companies said the solution has been designed to support the country's expanding AI and digital infrastructure requirements while enhancing energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact.

Under the partnership, KAS Pvt Ltd will lead project execution and market deployment, focusing on government, defence and enterprise customers. The companies plan to scale secure, energy-efficient digital infrastructure to support India's growing demand for sovereign AI and advanced computing capabilities.

The collaboration also aligns with the government's emphasis on indigenous technology development and the expansion of digital infrastructure under the 'Make in India' initiative by promoting locally developed solutions for AI and data centre applications.
