Kolkata Municipal Corporation engineers to monitor infra projects

The Behala, Garden Reach, and Metiabruz, also known as additional areas, current infrastructure projects will be supervised by a team of engineers from the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

The choice was made by the mayor during a review meeting held at the municipal offices. Council members and senior KMC essential services department executives were present during the meeting.

The gathering was called to assess the status of numerous significant infrastructure projects, including the improvement of sewerage and drainage, the expansion of the water supply, and the upkeep of roadways. Mayor also inquired as to whether there is a lack of funding for the council members in their particular wards.

The Asian Development Bank-funded Kolkata Environment and Infrastructure Improvement Project created the drainage pumping station.
