Ceigall India Bags Rs 21.4962 bn Road Orders From MoRTH

Ceigall India Limited, in a 74:26 joint venture with Sushee Infra Mining Limited, announced on 18 August 2026 that it has secured four Letters of Acceptance from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways. The orders have a combined bid cost of Rs 21.4962 billion (bn). The company said the awards relate to road construction projects in the north-eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh.

The contracts are to be executed on an Engineering Procurement Construction mode and are for domestic entities. The first contract covers the Sarli-Huri section of National Highway 913 from km 0.000 to km 78.38 at a bid cost of Rs 6.111 bn. The second contract covers the Huri-Taliha section from km 0.000 to km 55.725 with a bid cost of Rs 5.21 bn. The third contract extends the Huri-Taliha section from km 55.725 to km 113.25 and carries a bid cost of Rs 5.25 bn.

The fourth Letter of Acceptance covers the Huri-Taliha stretch from km 160.75 to km 209.90 and is valued at Rs 4.9252 bn. The first, second and fourth contracts have construction periods of 36 months each and will be followed by a five-year maintenance obligation. The third contract has a construction period of 48 months followed by a five-year maintenance obligation. The projects are expected to improve connectivity along the Frontier Highway and surrounding corridors.

The company indicated the contracts were secured through bidding and that execution timelines and performance warranties are set out in the Letters of Acceptance. The announcement is based on exchange filings and is provided for informational purposes; investors were advised to assess associated risks before making decisions. Ceigall India will proceed with mobilisation and statutory clearances as required.
