CM Bhupendra Patel Unveils Rs 2.82 Billion Projects in Aravalli

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel announced development works worth Rs 2.82 billion in Gujarat’s Aravalli district on 20 April, including a Rs 430 Mn sub-district hospital at Bhiloda and a Rs 150 Mn iconic busport at Modasa. The CM said the government is committed to strengthening healthcare and connectivity in remote regions.

The upgraded Bhiloda Community Health Centre now offers 125 beds with modern facilities. CM Patel also inaugurated ongoing road projects worth Rs 1.4 billion and launched several schemes including Samaras hostels, primary health centres, and smart classrooms. Speaking at the ceremony, CM Patel reiterated the Prime Minister’s vision of making essential services accessible to all. He stressed the importance of state welfare schemes such as Namo Lakshmi and Namo Saraswati, aimed at supporting education for boys and girls.

He assured that the request for a university in Aravalli, raised by Minister Bhikhusinh Parmar, would be duly considered. The CM also highlighted the state’s focus on electrification, road connectivity, and hospital development in tribal talukas like Nizar and Kalyanpur. Education Minister Dr Kuber Dindor hailed the event as historic, noting the government’s strides in integrating technology into schools. Minister Parmar described the Rs 2.82 billion milestone as transformative for the district. The event also included the inauguration of the Lok Sampark Centre and the CM’s presence at a group wedding ceremony in Modasa.
